Our company specializes in the import, processing and sales of coffee, exhibiting a high level of professionalism and deep knowledge of the industry. The company’s history begins somewhere around 1970s, half a century ago, when Dimitris Matzouranis opened a traditional coffee shop in the heart of Athens, in 250th Patission Avenue.

As the years went by, the coffee shop gradually grew into a coffee company. Stratis Matzouranis, son of the founder and current chief executive officer of Scarlet’s Coffee grew up here, amongst coffee bags and with the smell of freshly roasted coffee. Therefore, when the company eventually passed into his hands, by combining his father’s heritage with scientific knowledge in pharmaceutical industry, he succeeded in accelerating his company’s growth.

Scarlet’s Coffee is now located in fully-equipped facilities of 1000 square meters, in Ano Liossia. Inside this building, every step in the coffee production process is carefully controlled and monitored. After years and years of trials, the company has ensured improvement of coffee quality at all stages: from selecting the best raw materials, the processing, the coffee blends development, the ideal coffee extractions to the cupping.

Every day at our facilities, we process many different types of coffee, such as espresso, Greek, filter and aromatic. During recent years, the company also started making private-label coffee products for a vast number of clients, converting coffee production to art.
